Soldo Controls is proud to announce the introduction on the market of the latest explosion proof units: SY and SW series.
Both of the SW and SY are explosion proof Atex Ex II2G Ex d IIC T6-T4 and Ex II2D Ex tD B21 T110/140 degC tested and certified according to the latest european norms: EN 60079-1:2007 and EN61241-1:2004
SY series has a low copper aluminium housing and the SW series is made in 316 grade stainless steel (CF8M).

Offshore drilling rigs, platforms, underwater piping systems, dam sluice gates and position sensing of any underwater equipment is one of the harshest environments on earth.
Dependability is number 1. It is very costly to send humans or equipment down to sub sea levels 500 plus feet below the sea's surface. The Soldo "Bolt" Proximity sensor is designed to withstand the sub sea environments to depths of up to 4000m.
The Bolt is constructed of T-316 stainless steel complete with a "Wet Mateable" undersea connector, and a powerful Neodymium Iron Boron target magnet, epoxy imbedded into a stainless steel bolt for activating the switch.
The Omega control unit is now available with 3-Posiotion Control options, wiht configurations for Double Acting and Spring Return actuators. It features an integral 3-position, dual-coil solenoid valve for actuator control combined with feedback sensors for CW, Mid or Dribble, and CCW position indication in a single compact enclosure.
